Director of Sales

As our Director of Sales, you will: o Manage the Sales and Catering Department efficiently while meeting (and possibly exceeding...we have faith in you!) your set goals in room revenues, catering revenues and market share o Develop and implement a Revenue Generation Plan for the property as well as a Market Performance Forecast (MPF) and Market Segment Planner (MSP) and all end-of-month reports that showcase your team's accomplishments o Study trends within the market and be prepared to adjust accordingly, know the in's and out's of RevPAR and lead all sales-related activities. Requirements ABOUT YOU Yes, the Director of Sales is responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business but we want the position to be much more than that. And while some of the requirements are pretty specific, we want you to make the role your own. So, who are you? You have a minimum of five years of hotel sales experience and at least two years as a Director including leadership over direct sales efforts producing at least 50% market mix of total revenues. You have a valid driver's license from the appropriate state and unmatched time management skills. A college degree and certification are preferred but not required because we know that traditional education is not the only way to learn. You are passionate about numbers and know how to meet and exceed budgets and interpret the metrics we use to measure the department's success. You are a skilled communicator and approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner. You take pride in your accomplishments and feel proud when you think of new ways to improve the hotel's performance in the marketplace.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
