Overview The Catering Sales Manager will focus on the Wedding & Social Catering Market as a specialized sales manager for some of the most exceptional events booked at Hawks Cay Resort.
You will work with a talented team of professionals including Sales, Food & Beverage Housekeeping, Front Office and much more.
Providing great service and exceeding revenue goals are key aspects of this role.

As the Catering Sales Manager, you will achieve client satisfaction and revenue goals through active communication, salesmanship, creativity and planning.
Your Passion to achieve nothing but Excellence will be a vital component in the repositioning of our property to become a World Class Iconic Resort! Responsibilities Secure new bookings of weddings, vow renewals, family reunion events and small meetings based upon established guidelines of; function space rental, food and beverage minimums and accommodation rates Respond to inquiries in a timely fashion using creativity to suggest options that accommodate both the resort's and the client's needs and expectations Comprehensive documentation of; lead inquiries, responses to clients and follow-up efforts Conduct inspiring and thorough venue tours Accuracy when contracting event space and group rooms Preparation of accurate estimates, contracts and booking recaps An understanding of both monthly forecasting & the annual budget process Display; professionalism, passion in providing iconic service, accuracy, attention to detail, positive attitude, teamwork, dedicated work ethic and an ability to work in an ever changing environment Communicate details of pre-booking negotiations to all departments involved with detail planning of events Participate in the re-booking of repeat business Participate in ongoing training of; sales techniques, market trends and HEI initiatives Participate in the research the competition's products, services and pricing and use it to develop strategic business plans Participate in trade shows and sales blitzes Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned Compliance with resorts safety standards and procedures Compliance with the resort's attire and grooming standards Qualifications High school or equivalent education required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years of past sales experience preferred.
Must have experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
